It’s getting close!
We wanted to share some important information with you about the weekend of the wedding!
Day of the Wedding
Please arrive at Rathsallagh at 3pm for a 3.30pm ceremony start time.
Those staying on site can check in from 4pm (immediately after the ceremony).
Drinks reception approx. 4-6pm before dinner.
Night of the Wedding
If you are staying in Kilcullen or nearby, we will run buses from Rathsallagh on the night of the wedding, likely around midnight and again around 2am (we will confirm this shortly).
If you are not staying on-site the night of the wedding, it would be best to book accommodation close to Rathsallagh. This is because we will be running local taxis that will service the area within 10-15 minutes - it can be difficult to get further than that without driving. There are a range of bed and breakfasts available nearby - see the list below, or contact Rathsallagh if you are unsure.

If you are staying in a local BnB and wish to join us for breakfast at Rathsallagh, this can be arranged - please let us know or contact Rathsallagh directly.
Night before
Please join us upstairs at O’Connell’s pub, Kilcullen any time from 7pm on Friday July 3th. We have booked the room with a bar and live music.
We will serve light refreshments - finger food like fish and chips, cocktails sausages etc. If you are staying in Kilcullen and want to eat something more substantial at Bardons or Fallons, we recommend booking ahead of time as they can get quite busy.
Kids welcome!
We will run a bus to Naas around 11pm to get folks home who are staying there.

Wedding Information
The wedding takes place at Rathsallagh House during the day and night of Saturday July 4th 2026. We have exclusive use of Rathsallagh House on July 4th only - you’ll need to arrange accommodation in the area the night before and after if you intend to stay for the events on those days (remember, this is an Irish wedding - and we’d love you to stay!).
Where to Stay
Rathsallagh offers accommodation for around 100 people, which means sadly that it’s not possible for everyone to stay on site on the night of the wedding (although we will do our best to accommodate family and those travelling from overseas). Michelle and Daragh will be looking after room allocations for the night of the wedding and will reach out with details. We hope to get as many people staying on site as possible. It will be necessary for some guests to stay in off-site accommodation - a full list is provided below. There will be a taxi and bus service running through the night to make sure you get home safely. It is easiest if you try to stay within 10-15 minutes drive of Rathsallagh to avail of the taxi service - it can be difficult to find other transport options late at night in this part of the country.
We also hope many of you will be able to join us for a night-before event in Daragh’s home town - Kilcullen. Staying in any of the nearby guesthouses or hotels, or any nearby AirBNB, will allow for this. We will have a day-after event in the same locality, so you’ll want to arrange accommodation for that too.
There is a list of nearby accommodation below - please feel free to reach out with any questions. If you are searching for accommodation yourself, the nearest towns are Kilcullen, Naas, Newbridge and Kildare town.

Kildare town is around 15 minutes drive from Kilcullen (30 minutes from Rathsallagh) so a little less accessible, but still has some great night before/after options.
